There are two airports in St Lucia, Hewanorra International Airport, in Vieux Fort (UVF) (five minutes from the campus) and Castries Airport (SLU). We strongly recommend arrival into UVF where you can be greeted by a IAU Public Relations Officer. Airlines serving Hewanorra include American Airlines, Air Canada, British Airways, Delta Airlines and Virgin Atlantic, to name a few.
Castries (SLU) is a $100, sixty-minute, taxi ride to the campus.
If you need hotel accommodations for your parents or others during their visit to the island, please contact the campus with your travel itinerary. We will help to arrange transportation and accommodations. We recommend either the Kimatrai Hotel or Coconut Bay Rsort & Spa which are a 5-minute drive to the main campus.
IAU campus will process the paperwork and help you get the necessary visa for the duration of your stay on the island. Please contact the Dallas Office for information regarding visas for visiting family or friends. Students are required to provide the following documents upon arrival to the immigration department.
- Valid Passport
- Admission Letter
- Return airticket
- Details of accomodation in St Lucia
Upon enrollment students must present
1.Documentation of DPT, MMR (separately or together)
2.TB skin test (if positive, Chest X-ray and the report)
